Hello! I’m Jane, an animator and artist from Ellicott City, MD.

I have been fascinated by animation since I was little. Watching princesses dance across the screen on painted backgrounds, I was drawn in by the stories, the colors, and the movement. I drew and painted almost entirely by hand until I got to college, where I first started learning how to digitally animate. I discovered the power of storytelling and how much I enjoyed it; I could make my characters go anywhere and be anything, even if that was just a girl in a bathroom.

My passion is character driven stories with an emphasis on color and design; I like slice of life and I like character performance. While my relationships and experiences have shaped many of the stories I have written, I endeavor to make films and characters that feel tangible to the people watching them; so they can connect with the story and the characters and go, “Hey! I get that!”

I believe there is so much to learn from daily life and the people around me - so many stories just waiting to be told - with continued learning I will strive to develop and expand my craft across many genres and styles.

Currently, I am working towards a BFA in animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology. While studying at RIT, I am also participating on the Division III Women's Lacrosse team.
