about
Jane Hudson is an artist and animator with a passion for environmental storytelling, color, and design. She grew up captivated by the movement and magic of hand-drawn animation, drawing inspiration from the princesses dancing across painted backgrounds, expressing herself through traditional drawing and painting, and developing a deep appreciation for visual storytelling.
Through her student film Just a Moment, she developed a lasting interest in the emotional power of environments and how spaces can serve as more than just backdrops. In her latest project, The Hotel, she chose to focus on this theme, exploring the relationship between mood, space, and storytelling.
Now a graduate from the School of Film and Animation at RIT, Jane remains committed to telling stories that feel honest, grounded, and emotionally resonant. She continues to evolve her craft across genres and styles, always seeking to create work that connects with audiences through authentic moments, thoughtful design, and a deep sensitivity to the environments her characters call home.
